Industry Workforce Reports

The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation has curated a library of workforce resources and reports designed to help partner companies and talent acquisition leaders to stay up to date on industry trends, topical strategies, and the most recent data guiding our work to grow the workforce of the corrugated packaging industry.

Workforce Development Report

ICPF’s quarterly Workforce Development Report is intended to provide ideas and resources to help industry companies attract, retain and develop a talented workforce in today’s competitive environment. Each quarter, ICPF will include relevant resources, case studies and articles providing examples, best practices and ideas that can be incorporated into your current workforce playbook. Successful organizations share a few common elements, but perhaps the most important indicator of achievement is having the right people. This report is organized into two main sections: Finding Talent and Retaining Talent.

Corrugated Packaging Industry Workforce Index Survey

ICPF’s annual Corrugated Industry Workforce Index Survey is designed to collect valuable information on industry trends in hiring, recruitment, and retention. The survey, developed with the help of ICPF’s Talent Acquisition Committee, provides participating companies with actionable benchmarking information to guide talent strategies and support workforce planning. Survey results are de-identified and only available to participating companies. ICPF publicizes the opportunity to participate in this survey in Q1 every year.

National Workforce Displacement Report

ICPF’s monthly National Workforce Displacement Report has been developed to track publicly available information related to announced plant closures and workforce reductions across the United States, organized by region (Northeast, Midwest, South, West). The goal of this report is to provide a centralized, timely resource that may help companies identify potential recruitment opportunities, better understand regional labor market trends, and proactively support workforce planning efforts. The report will be made available for download at the end of each month.
